I figure it's time to update on my life. I'm currently in Fort Campbell, Kentucky with 194th MP Company. So i roll around in the military police car and i spent one weekend doing a 24 hour shift driving to some incidents. there's a bunch of sad stuff... a woman got crushed yesterday between two trucks and i heard sirens going off and saw the emergency helicopter flying her out. another family had a deranged ex-wife set fire to her ex-husband's house and killed his two kids (one was a 4 year old, and another was 6). the parents tried to save them and were on the roof looking for their kids but had to jump off when the house burned too much and broke their legs. but other than that, im really enjoying my time here. seems like the soldiers all work really hard but party pretty hard as well. im looking forward to my graduation and entering the army although i know that the people close to me will have to sacrifice alot to adjust to this lifestyle. i had my lasek surgery and now i look like a korean brad pitt. hahahaha...... im still adjusting to my habit w/ glasses. i often find myself trying to take off my invisible glasses before my shower or sleep, and i scratch parts of my face weird trying to avoid the glasses. i'll be home from june 27-july 5 to party it up w/ my cali homies. i dunno what they have planned, but it feels good not worrying about all the logistics and stuff that goes into that. then im off to korea from july 5-july 29 to play w/ elisa and meet her family (insert nervous laughter here). but im excited as well... never spent that much time w/ her so i dunno what to expect there. i'll be back in cali from july 29-august whenever (note to self: i should find that out and buy plane tickets). after that i'll be entering my 4th and final year at castle greyskull. alot of lifechanging decisions coming up but my mind is not yet there. still dunno what im gonna be doing yet... and what's an entry w/o pics:
where i am now.
the weird tan im sporting at the moment... so unsexy. for the few who bothered to read all that... thanks and congrats. can't wait to spend time w/ you people. see you guys in a few. |
